About Wheatland Tube
The origin of Wheatland Tube began in 1877, when John Maneely, the founder of Wheatland’s parent company, began selling pipe, valves and fittings in Philadelphia.
The first piece of pipe came off a Wheatland production line in 1931, so we’ve had decades to learn the pipe and tube business. One thing we’ve learned is that success starts with earning the trust of your customers. Each is special; an individual company with a unique set of needs.
Over the years we’ve developed the expertise and knowledge to meet those needs. And we’ve made the investments in facilities, systems and people so we can deliver — in both good times and tough times.
We produce well over a million tons of steel pipe, conduit and tube products a year, operate six manufacturing facilities and furnish products used in energy generation, industrial applications, the construction industry and in consumer products.
Since the first piece of pipe rolled off our line, we’ve worked to build our reliability, gather the knowledge and put the resources in place to earn the one thing most important to us: your trust.
