Wheatland’s F1083 Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 fence framework products are manufactured in the USA meeting ASTM F1083, Group IA specifications, as well as all applicable local, state and federal specs. And Wheatland manufactures the only Schedule 40 with virtually lead-free galvanization ─ in the most extensive size range of any fence framework product.

Every ASTM F1083 Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 piece is protected inside and out by 99% pure zinc hot-dip galvanization of 1.8 oz./ft2 (2.0 available upon request) for protection against corrosion and white rust.
The steel used to produce Wheatland’s fence framework contains recycled steel, which is the most recycled material in the world. The tube products manufactured by Wheatland Tube are produced from 25% to 85% recycled steel, depending on the steel producer — which can help building owners and developers obtain LEED certification.
