Wheatland Tube Company Teams up with
ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
In Boynton Beach, Florida

Wheatland Tube Company was a proud participant in a recent episode of ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, an inspiring reality-based television show dedicated to helping make families' dreams come true. Wheatland stepped up to the plate in Boynton Beach, donating thousands of dollars worth of fence post material to re-build a Florida community baseball field. The Boynton Beach project is part of the four-episode, "After the Storm" series, and aired on March 30, 2006. The new "After the Storm" series has been re-building the lives of individual families and whole communities in areas hardest hit by hurricanes. The East Boynton Little League All-Stars baseball field suffered devastating damage during Hurricane Wilma. Ten tons of Wheatland fence posts and rails were used in conjunction with chain link fencing provided by Hoover Fence Company, and installed by Carlson Fence of Miami. Work began on February 4th, and the project culminated with the unveiling on Wednesday, February 8th. Wheatland is honored to have had the opportunity to provide product to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and to help make a difference in the community of Boynton Beach.
